Massachusetts Climate Action Network (MCAN)

At MCAN, I plan out and design documents meant for use by members across MCAN’s chapters, as well as critical documents meant for both public and governmental audiences. Projects range from one-page pamphlets, brochures, and pledge cards, to a forty-two page research report. The report is still in development and will be posted after publication. These documents include graphics and illustrations I create specifically for these assignments. The internship requires me to follow a strict timeline, while juggling multiple design requests and duties.

“What’s the Score?” The Municipal Light Plant Report Card

I led the design of this forty-two page report examining clean energy performance of all 41 of Massachusetts’s Municipal Light Plants. I curated photos, illustrated icons, devised page layouts, and rendered the overall vision for this report. A flier summarizing the report was created, as well.

The report was featured by organizations such as the Massachusetts Politico Playbook and E4TheFuture.

A Better Building Code Flier

This flier was created to inform individuals about registering for the 2019 vote on the International Energy Conversation Code. I planned the document’s composition and layout, conducted photo research, selected the typography, as well as designed the “Voting Timeline” infographic.

Icons and Graphics

I’ve created icons and graphics for MCAN’s annual report, presentations, and infographics.
